What is the new Facebook News Feed

Facebook has changed something in his News Feed and introduce it on the March 2013 which has more user friendly and customization feature than the old one. This new news feed is very much inspired from the newspaper. As it is very much similar to a newspaper in its look.

In the new look of the Facebook news feed, there are separate sections for friends, photos, music and other activity and updates. We can customize its view according to our wish. It has more customization feature than the old one. The new Facebook News Has a prominent front page with a bold photo which is sub divided into different sections for different categories.

Facebook has introduced the new design to reduce the clutter. The best thing about New news feed is that it is fully compatible with PC, Mobile and Tablet. So it is very easy to use.

How to Enable the new look of the News Feed on Facebook

To activate the latest news feed introduced by Facebook in March complete the below steps

1. Open Facebook (https://www.facebook.com)

2. Login To Facebook Using your Email ID and Password  (You can also login using your USER ID or mobile number)

3. After Login Open the Facebook News feed Activation Url (https://www.facebook.com/about/newsfeed)

4. After opening the page Scroll down the horizontal scroll bar and go till the last of the page.

5. Now click on "Join Waiting List".

As Facebook Introduced the News feed as a beta version so you have to first join the waiting list to check the new look of Facebook.

6. Now you are on the Waiting List of New look of Facebook.

7. Once the waiting list completes you will get a notification on the Facebook Home page to use it.

8. That is it.

How to enable Graph Search on Facebook

What is facebook Graph Search

Facebook graph search is a search engine by "Facebook" which supports the general search terms and works within face-book. It supports the search between Public posts, People, Pages, Events, Applications, Groups, places, Check-ins of the user, friends, or where user or friends have been tagged.

How to activate Graph Search on Facebook

1. Before activating Graph Search first you need to join the Waiting List. As Facebook graph search is on Beta version so direct activation is not possible.

2. Go to https://www.facebook.com/about/graphsearch
3. Scroll down the horizontal scroll bar till last.
4. Click on "Try Graph Search" and join the Waiting List as shown in the picture..

5. Now wait till the Waiting period completed. Once Waiting period finishes You will get a notification on Facebook home page after log-in to enable the graph search.

6. Now click on "Turn on Graph Search".
7. Wait for two minute and Graph search is ready for your Account.
Note: Facebook does not support graph search on Mobile.

Facebook keyboard shortcut 2013 Working Hot-Keys

Face book uses the combine keyboard shortcuts i.e. More than one keys to be pressed to access the shortcuts. Out of which some keys are depends upon the type of Operating system and the browser are you using.

For MAC OS X:

Note: All the shortcut keys works on the numbers that are placed on the top of the keyboard. Not from the notepad. If you are using Google Chrome (In Windows OS) then You have to press the Alt key and a number from shortcut simultaneously to use the shortcuts. How to delete or deactivate and Restore facebook account

The process will disable or delete or deactivate any one's Facebook account temporarily. After using the process; you profile will not show in Facebook. All the post of your will be not show in any of your friend's wall.

Process:
1. Log in to your face-book account by giving user name and password.
2. Click on the drop down menu of your account which is present at the top right side corner of the face-book.
3. Choose "Account setting".

4. Navigate to "Security tab".
 OR  follow the link https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=security
5. Choose "Deactivate your account".

6. Now provide the reason of your deleting the Facebook account on the open window.
7. You will also find various check boxes asking whether you want to delete your created group or any application etc
8. Tick the check boxes according to your wishes.
9. Now click on "confirm".

10. It will again ask for the Facebook password. Just enter the password and click on "Deactivate Now".
Now your face book account is deactivated temporarily.

How to Re activate the old deleted Facebook account.

To reactivate the disable Facebook account just log in to face book using your old face-book Id and password.
