6. After you click "OK", it will show an error message " IDM has been registered with a fake Serial Number or the Serial number has been blocked. IDM is exiting.".
7. Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
8..in the Etc folder you will see the "hosts" file. Open the file with notepad. Now copy the below lines of code and add to hosts file as shown below the image box :

First take the ownership of the hosts file then try to edit it. After that you will able to save the hosts file.

You may have not completed the process fully that is why facing problem in register. You read the entire process carefully then try you will able to register it. It is 100% working.

You need to save the edited hosts file on its old position where you have modified. Not in other location.
