The process will describe how we can download an eBook from google book search. This process is done by using a third party software named as "Google Book Down-loader". This works on both windows based operating system as well as with MAC OS.

1. Install the Software.
2. After installation is complete ; Run the program from the shortcut that is created on desktop.
3. Now the below screen will be opened.
4. The screen will ask the four things. They are
-> Google Book URL
-> Output format
-> Screen Resolution
-> Output directory

5. Now open the eBook that you want to download from google book search in your Internet browser.
6. Copy the URL of eBook from the address bar of your Internet browser and paste it on the "Google book URL" box in Google book down loader.
7. In the output format choose the output file type of the book. Better to choose the pdf format. It is good for offline reading and easily opened in any of the PDF reader like adobe reader, foxit reader etc.
8. In the resolution choose the best resolution of your windows screen so that it will viewed perfectly.
9. In the output directory choose the location where you want to save your pdf book which will be downloaded from google book by the down loader.
10. Now click on start.
11. after that it will download the book and convert it to pdf format.
12. The process will take some time so kindly keep patience and wait for some time.
13. After the completion of download. You will be able to view that book in offline.

It does work just one ebook. The following ones when it shows 'done' tag, it's nothing happening afterward. No downloading as the first book.

The Google book down-loader can only able to download the pages that are shown in the google books.
Pls, what type of books? Is it free books or you can download any type of book without restrictions?

You can able to download the books that are available in Google Books. You can only download the pages/books that have no restriction from Google.
