Some times we face problem regarding protected disc. That is we try to copy something to our USB device or memory card and it will show you a message that the disk is write protected. Actually it may happen due to various reason.
Reason maybe due to the affect of virus or may be the disc is protected or may be copy and move option is disable. If it occurs due to the virus then you must use a good antivirus or virus remover to get rid of that or you may also reload your operating system. If the disc is write protected then you can add your document by modifying the registry. Before going through the tutorial you must create a back up of windows Registry:
                    Process to create back up of Windows Registry
Now, open your notepad or any other text editor and Enter the following information:
Information for enable the copy/move option:-

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies]
"WriteProtect"=dword:00000000

Information for disable the copy/move option:-

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies]
"WriteProtect"=dword:00000001
Note:
Please make sure that the first line (the one starting with "Windows Registry Editor..." appears in the text file. Now save the notepad file anywhere on your computer and give it a .reg extension.(suppose xxx.reg).Now you need to install that registry file to Windows registry..
After installing the registry Now reboot your computer and Enjoy the change.
